Mountains

A piece of time
A piece of the world.

I was born in Argentina to Kazakh parents, growing up between two cultures that shaped how I see the world. My name is Bekbolat Bekenov, and from an early age I was drawn to movement—different places, different stories, different light. That curiosity slowly turned into a passion for photography, especially landscapes and quiet, in-between moments that often go unnoticed.

I spent years exploring both urban and remote environments, learning how light, weather, and perspective can completely transform a scene. What started as a personal way to document my surroundings became a way to share how I experience the world—calm, vast, and full of subtle detail. I’m particularly drawn to natural scenery, open horizons, and places that feel untouched, where a single frame can carry a sense of stillness and depth.

Through my work, I try to create images that feel immersive yet simple, blending my roots, my travels, and a constant search for beauty in ordinary places.
